“Watercolor” Lip Blush

Lip Blush, a broad name for many different types of lip techniques. Native Brows specializes in the ”Aquarelle/Watercolor Lips” technique for the most natural lip tint offered in the PMU Industry. Watercolor Lip tattoo brings back your natural lip contour(definition), color, fullness, and so much more! Just add a little balm and your lips will look like subtle, natural looking tint. This method is soft and fresh; no harsh outlines, just a subtle blush of color to define shape and make lips look naturally plump & flushed! A custom color is mixed for each and every client based on their skin color, undertones and existing lip shade. 

Refreshers are usually recommended every 1.5-3 years after Initial Touch Up. 

Lip Blush requires a minimum of 2 appointments to get the best results. Touch up appointments are booked 6-10 weeks after your initial procedure. Additional touch ups may be booked for a more saturated/lipstick look.

—Need to Know—

  • Cool, Dark, Hyper-pigmented Lips MUST be pre-approved for lip tint. Please text Jess clear, well lit photos of natural lips before you book. Some dark lip tones are not suitable for this procedure & will require additional sessions to achieve natural vibrant color, but please contact Jess for approval or questions if you have dark/hyper-pigmented lips. Initial session is strictly color correction, touch up sessions are used to layer desired lip tint colors.

  • Mature Lips or lips that are heavily wrinkled are not the best candidates for lip blush due to color settling in the wrinkles, ink migrating, and possibly enhancing any deep skin folds(wrinkles). If you’re unsure if you’re a candidate, please text the studio a clear photo of your lips(no makeup) to (832)-977-7095.

  • If you are prone to cold sores and/or have broken capillaries or veins on or around lips, you are not a candidate due to risk of migration and undesirable healed results.

  • Pain is minimal to none - Anesthetics are used to keep you comfortable.

  • Bruising can occur, please see Pre-care for more info.

  • The bigger/fuller your lips, the longer the procedure may take(3-5hrs), plan accordingly.

  • Watercolor Lips will not cover/conceal freckles, moles, melasma, or hyper-pigmentation(dark spots).

  • Healing time is very quick and very easy, just a few days of applying balm(provided) & avoiding spicy foods/swimming/sauna, & sweat for 5 days. 

  • The area will be slightly swollen for a day or two (but nothing you have to hide away from, they’ll just be plump)

  • Color is very vibrant for the first 2 days then color begins settling in, softening and turning very natural on day 5.

  • A touch up(6-10 weeks) later is needed, not receiving your touch up with in the time frame will be considered incomplete & must be booked as a Refresh(not Touch Up).

  • Perfect for ALL ages, however heavily wrinkled lips are not candidates.

  • Refreshers are recommended every 1.5-3 years.

  • Lip Blush tattoo will not effect the color of applied lipsticks.

  • If you have a favorite lip color, please bring it to your appointment & the Artist will match it. If no color is brought in for reference, the artist will choose a natural color for you.

  • The artist will NOT work outside your natural lip tissue! If you have very thin lips, this procedure may not be the best option for you(if you are unsure, please text the studio a clear picture of your lips with NO makeup on them) to (832)-977-7095. ONLY exception for working outside the vermilion border/natural lip tissue, is for paramedical/restorative procedures.

***Aquarelle Lip Blush is meant to look NATURAL and add a flushed/tint look. It will NOT replace lipstick. However, if a more saturated look is desired, additional touch ups may be required.
